This year, VAIN couldn’t see any better way of seeing in the year of 23 than having a LADY GAGA inspired party. Initially my instinct was to not unleash these images to the world – but – to really tell my tale of rooftop parties and disco dancing in Joiners – they had to be exposed.
First things first – outfit turnout – A.M.A.Z.I.N.G . Telephone being the main inspiration – we had the coke can hair do’, the ciggs sunglasses, the Americano look and even some home-made origami head wear.
VAIN opted for Paparazzi Gaga as the alter ego for the night a la Jeremy Scott sunglasses (LOVE)
It can be said – To be head to toe clad in standard leotard GAGA attire, I expected a little attention from the larger louts on my route past the bars to party but this was extreme – it did not help the little entourage on Haus of Gaga types by my side.
Gay guys falling at our feet – children screaming etc It really did not dawn on me that GAGA was in town and could possible experience some mistaken identity issues. HOW WRONG WAS I.
To leave a little to the imagination – the night finished off in a gay bar in east London – how do you think that went down??? I will leave the thought with you.
